Winning 3-1 at Molineux in the FA Cup in 2004 when they were Premier League and we were Championship. Met Trevor Brooking outside before the game. Kicked off a bit afterwards by their subway.

Brady's goal - 4-0 in the spring sunshine 1990. Foundation laid for promotion the following season.
3-1 FA Cup win there when we were in the Championship & they were prem, around 2004 ? Angry ant scored a brace I think.
Also a horrendous 1-3 home defeat under Zola in 2010 where half the ground were chanting 'Your not fit to wear the shirt'

That 5-2 game was among a clutch of games for us when we couldnt stop scoring. Trusting my memory here but it went something like this.
Leicester 6-2
Wolves 5-2
Burnley 5-3
Birmingham 3-0
Tranmere (cup) 6-0
Maybe some other old git with a better memory can correct some of those but i dont think i'm too far off. I was at all of those games,probably my favourite era of watching us.

Thanks for that, I thought maybe i had the game mixed up with Burnley, you explained it all !
I remember coming in from watching my local team, putting Grandstand on to get the score, amazed we had scored 5

Ah, great memories for me, my first game on the terracing was against Wolves, North Bank with the old man. We won 3-1 after going 1-0 down, Goddard double I also think??
Anyone confirm the year, I think 81 or 82?

Losing 4-2 at Moulinex (always thought that's what it was called when I was a kid) in the Championship. Drove up with everyone's favourite Guardian journo before he was a Guardian journo. Home crowd had a stupid song and spent a lot of time banging advertising hoardings. Paul Ince scored. First time I'd ever left a game with more than five minutes to go.
